Another reason to reject religion

I just got an email from someone who wanted to let me know about the dangerous immoralities of cults. He said this story left him speechless.

Me too. Except I wanted to use a few words to write this post.

The next time someone asks you, "Why are you so down on religion?" say "Oh, I don’t know. Maybe it’s because true believers make their children eat their own flesh."

Nobel Prize winner Steven Weinberg is right:

“Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it, you would
have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things.
But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.”
