Providing background on those problems means delving into some complex financial issues. So be warned. This post will be long, but interesting for those willing to put in the time to read all of it.

The Delhi High Court on Monday ordered the appointment of a forensic auditor to examine transactions involving Fortis Healthcare, Malaysia’s IHH Healthcare and Singapore’s RHT Health Trust, in a case linked to a $4.6-billion arbitration award won by Daiichi Sankyo against Malvinder and Shivinder Singh.
The Delhi High Court on Monday directed the appointment of a forensic auditor to examine transactions involving Fortis Healthcare (FHL), Malaysia’s IHH Healthcare Berhad and Singapore’s RHT Health Trust, in a case linked to a $4.6-billion arbitration award won by Japanese pharma major Daiichi Sankyo against Malvinder and Shivinder Singh back in 2008.
Daiichi had sought the appointment of a forensic auditor to investigate the transactions and any nexus between RHT, the former FHL promoters and others, following directions issued by the Supreme Court on September 22, 2022.
The Japanese drugmaker is seeking an audit of the dilution of FHL’s shareholding, alleged violations of undertakings and assurances given by the former promoters, and transactions between FHL and IHH. It has also alleged a clandestine transfer of Rs 4,666 crore to RHT Singapore.
IHH had acquired a 31% stake in Fortis Healthcare for Rs 4,000 crore in July 2018 through a bidding process.
Daiichi had also sought a forensic audit of transactions between the Singh brothers and companies belonging to the Religare Group, including Religare Capital Market, Religare Capital Market International (Mauritius), Religare Enterprises, Religare Finvest and Religare Comtrade.
In a separate application, Daiichi had asked the High Court to appoint forensic auditors to examine the conduct of 17 banks and financial institutions, including HDFC Ltd, Yes Bank, Axis Bank, Citicorp Finance, Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance Co and Kotak Mahindra Investments.
The petition alleged that these lenders had invoked pledges on shares of FHL owned by Fortis Healthcare Holding in violation of Supreme Court and High Court orders, as well as undertakings given by the Singh brothers to the courts. It also alleged that the lenders had extended loans to loss-making entities without conducting due diligence.
Daiichi has argued that extensive forensic audits under the supervision of retired high court judges are necessary to ensure sufficient inflow of money to satisfy the arbitration award against the Singh brothers.
In September 2022, the Supreme Court had directed the Delhi High Court to consider appointing forensic auditors to examine whether transactions entered into by banks and financial institutions were bona fide. It had also said the auditors could examine transactions between Fortis Healthcare and RHT and other related transactions through which the Rs 4,000 crore received from IHH was transferred.
Daiichi had acquired Ranbaxy Laboratories from the Singh brothers in 2008. It subsequently won a Singapore arbitration award against them and has been pursuing its enforcement in Indian courts. The dispute has also extended to transactions involving Fortis Healthcare, which was formerly controlled by the Singh brothers.
Long-time readers of this blog will recall that I’ve written many posts about how the RSSB guru, Gurinder Singh Dhillon, and his family seemingly were involved in financial improprieties related to the Singh brothers, Malvinder and Shivinder Singh. Besides being hugely rich at one point, Malvinder and Shivinder are relatives of the RSSB guru, who I’ll refer to as GSD from now on.
It’s been a while since news about the Singh brothers and their connection to GSD’s financial dealings has appeared in the Indian press. So rather than taking time today to refresh my memory about this, I decided to “speak” with Claude, my favorite AI model. Here’s my series of questions/comments and Claude’s responses.

How this fits the wider case
This Dhillon angle is one thread in a much larger fraud saga. Separately, SEBI determined the Singh brothers themselves had defrauded Fortis Healthcare of about 4 billion rupees ($54.3 million) and ordered repayment, and the brothers were arrested by Delhi Police’s EOW over an alleged Rs 2,397 crore loss at Religare Finvest. In 2022 the Supreme Court gave both brothers six-month jail terms in the related Daiichi Sankyo contempt matter. Where things stand
Dhillon himself was not convicted in these matters as of the most recent reporting I found — the civil recovery order against him and associates went through the Delhi High Court, and litigation around RSSB-linked trusts and family disputes (including a newer 2026 dispute over a Rs 500 crore trust involving Shivinder’s side of the family) is still ongoing. I didn’t find any report of a criminal conviction against Dhillon personally in the fraud complaint — the EOW complaint and the high court recovery order appear to be where his legal exposure has concretely played out.
Given how central RSSB is to your own background, I’m happy to dig further into any specific thread — the trust dispute, the EOW case status, or Dhillon’s current standing within RSSB itself.

CLAUDE: This is a new development in the same long-running Daiichi Sankyo enforcement saga, but it’s a different (though related) thread from the Dhillon/RSSB allegations — worth untangling the two.
What the Aug 31, 2026 order actually covers
Daiichi Sankyo has spent years trying to enforce a roughly Rs 3,500–5,300 crore arbitration award (figures vary by report, likely due to accrued interest) it won against Malvinder and Shivinder Singh over concealment of wrongdoing at Ranbaxy before its 2008 sale to Daiichi. The Supreme Court found in September 2022 that the brothers’ Fortis shareholding — which was supposed to remain available to satisfy that award — had been sharply depleted through pledges and sales, and held them in contempt. But the Court stopped short of calling the underlying transactions fraudulent; instead it told the Delhi High Court to consider appointing forensic auditors to determine whether those transactions were genuine commercial dealings or a way of dissipating assets.
That’s what happened on August 31: Justice Subramonium Prasad appointed S. Ramanand Aiyar & Co. as forensic auditor, with six months to:
- Reconstruct the entire chain of Fortis share transactions — pledges, top-ups, invocations, releases, sales — and trace where the sale proceeds went, bank by bank
- Examine the 2018 IHH-NTK deal (IHH’s ~₹4,000 crore acquisition of a 31.1% Fortis stake)
- Examine the related RHT Health Trust transaction, in which Fortis paid ~₹4,666 crore to acquire assets from the Singapore-listed trust — a transaction Daiichi alleges moved money out of reach of the award
- Identify who proposed, approved, or facilitated each transaction
The court also invoked the doctrine of “reverse piercing of the corporate veil” — meaning if the audit finds the corporate structures (Fortis, IHH, RHT) were used to hide or move assets to defeat Daiichi’s rights, the court could potentially disregard those corporate boundaries and go after entities/individuals directly. Fortis itself has publicly stated the order doesn’t establish any liability against the company — it’s investigative, not a finding of wrongdoing.
How this connects to the Dhillon story
The link is structural rather than direct. The Dhillon/RSSB allegations concern a separate pipeline of alleged fund diversion — money moving from RHC Holdings and Religare Finvest into Dhillon-family-controlled shell companies, which Malvinder alleged was used partly to fund RSSB’s real-estate expansion. The new forensic audit is focused specifically on the Fortis share pledges and the IHH/RHT transactions — i.e., how the brothers’ ownership stake in Fortis disappeared, not the RHC/Religare money trail that named Dhillon.
That said, the two threads share a common throughline: courts and auditors are now systematically tracing where the Singh brothers’ assets went across multiple corporate vehicles, over multiple proceedings, to figure out whether any of the “beneficiaries” were bona fide commercial counterparties or associates helping shield assets. If the RHT/IHH forensic audit turns up transfers that loop back toward RHC Holdings, RSSB-linked entities, or the same associates named in the 2019 EOW complaint (Godhwani, Dhillon family members), that would tie the two threads together directly — but as of this order, RSSB and Dhillon aren’t named as subjects of this particular audit. ME: What interests me is that in 2019 Fortis Healthcare filed a lawsuit filed a lawsuit against Malvinder and Shivinder Singh and several shell companies seeking repayment of Rs 520 crore. This image from a Business Today story shows that money siphoned to the shell companies ended up in the pockets of Gurinder Singh Dhillon and his family. This seems to be a connection between the finances of Fortis and money received by the RSSB guru and his family.

The link is real, not just proximity
The 2019 Fortis suit named exactly the entities that appear on the right-hand branch of the flowchart: Fortis Hospitals sued Best Healthcare, Fern Healthcare, Modland Wears, Malvinder Mohan Singh, Shivinder Mohan Singh and certain other entities to recover Rs 520 crore. Those same three names — Modland Wears, Fern Healthcare, Best Healthcare — are the shell companies the infographic shows receiving ₹1,006.3 crore from the RHC/Oscar/Fortis Healthcare Holding chain, alongside Devera Developers, Adept Lifespaces, and Rosestar Marketing, with the arrow pointing down to Gurinder Singh Dhillon. So the graphic is essentially illustrating where the Rs 520 crore (and more) Fortis was suing over actually ended up, according to the trail investigators/journalists reconstructed: money moved out of Fortis-linked holding entities, through those named shell companies, and into the control of the Dhillon family.
Context that sharpens the picture
- SEBI’s parallel October 2018 finding was that the Singh brothers had defrauded Fortis of roughly ₹4 billion (~$54.3 million) and ordered them to repay it — a separate but overlapping figure from the Rs 520 crore Fortis specifically litigated over and the Rs 472 crore SFIO was separately probing.

I’m glad I decided never to be a podcaster because after observing Gurinder’s latest change in preaching style I can honestly say that I am more stable than him. He’s almost to the point that a lot of celebrities reach where they start blaming their fans for their problems. I’m glad to say that I was no one’s fan to start with so it’s not my fault and not my problem what happens to public figures and celebrities. According to GSD it’s the problem of the 14 and 15-year-olds who have been forced to listen to him since they were babies. And he might have to go younger than that because their questions are getting too legitimate. So whatever you do don’t analyze and don’t think for yourself. The involvement was with companies that will be investigated by the forensic audit being undertaken by order of the High Court of Delhi.
Sure, the RSSB guru has put up a defense against the allegations of fraud. The defense doesn’t make much sense, given the fact that the guru is a control freak and was viewed as a divine being by the Singh brothers — though Malvinder Singh has accused him of financial fraud, which I’m more inclined to believe than the guru’s defense. Being cheated out of hundreds of millions of dollars has a way of making someone lose faith in their guru.

Personally, if my closest relatives established a dozen shell companies to cover speculation loans, leveraged from positions in corporations their uncle helped get for them, that were called as the market softened, generating huge debt, I don’t think, as their uncle, I would offer to take over all that, and that responsibility.
If anything Gurinder has shown himself in this one letter, willing to take on any burden from those he loves.

There are so many old superstitions wrapped up in Indian literature and religions. It’s worse than the Baptists. I’m here to dispel them. After what I’ve seen I realize I’m your only living Hope. Once you do learn the truth about me I propose that you do 45 minutes of meditation under my guidance and see how that stacks against the two and a half hours of nothing you’ve been getting so far. Just remind me in fact remind me of everything I’ve ever said or done. I’m having such fun just remembering it all. 30 minutes Simran and fifteen minutes pure Sound… And then it’ll come and go for the rest of the day while you go about your business. No brag just fact. “Could be bad news.” Why, and for whom? Let’s be honest. You don’t care a fig about the fortunes of Fortis. Your only interest in this matter is tied to your personal spite for RSSB and schadenfreude for the Dhillon family. Like the other guy, your spotlight is always on Gurinder Dhillon but never on Charan Dhillon.
Let it not be forgotten that Gurinder is the nepogurubaby of Charan. That is, Gurinder is guru only because Charan thrust his nephew upon the sangat.
In matters concerning honesty, it’s not evident to me that Charan fares any better than Gurinder.

Here we find a poor elderly satsangi who cares for her parents asking Charan if meditating 2.5 hours is “enough.” Charan seems to be offended by the question, and indicates that 2.5 hours is a “good starting point.” In other words, Charan never answers her question, and dismisses her problems meditating out of hand. He leaves her confused by the usual RSSB message that, no matter what efforts you contribute to the Path, they’re never enough.
Charan’s uncompromising demand that everyone do at least 2.5 hours of meditation per day would be one thing had Charan himself been an avid meditator before he became guru. But such is not the case. Charan privately admitted in a rare moment of candor that he ignored the 2.5-hour demand. What is good for the guru is apparently not good for the sangat gander.
Charan is quoted as saying, when asked about meditation during his college days: “Let me tell you in confidence: I did it only casually, except for 60 days when I did it regularly.” This relates to a specific episode around the late 1930s/early 1940s (while studying intermediate or law), when Sawan Singh reportedly conditioned breaking an unwanted engagement on Charan Singh sitting for one hour of bhajan daily for 60 days. He was initiated in his late teens by his grandfather Sawan Singh but described his practice as mostly casual outside that period.
If someone has walked the walk, whatever it may be, I can respect them counseling others to do the same.
But it fries me when a guru who didn’t meditate (and keeps that fact a secret from the sangat) tells everyone who struggles with the verkakte 2.5-hour (or is it longer?) meditation that they’re worthless and weak shirkers.
That is a matter I care far more about than this pharma corporation soap opera.
Thank you for the link to the video of Charan Singh. I watched it, though I came away with a rather different impression. He did not seem offended so much as matter-of-factly reminding the questioner that the meditation instruction had already been given at initiation. And he said, quite specifically, to “get to that point” of doing two and a half hours—not that everyone had somehow failed an immediate compliance test.
It is also worth remembering that Charan never cultivated an image of personal spiritual grandeur. At his appointment, he spoke plainly of his own lack of qualifications and even said he lacked the excellences of a good satsangi. That is hardly the language of someone carefully protecting an infallible persona.
What remains puzzling is why you continue to haunt these pages with interpretations that become increasingly unrecognizable once one actually consults the source material being cited. Apparently, in this case, the video says one thing—and the commentary has received a rather more inventive initiation.
Charan Singh Grewal was never a Dhillon. I’m surprised how little you people know about your own religion. ( And maybe you can begin to see now why I was chosen because we can be born in any country under any race and religion.) Charan was trying to inspire you by his humble confession. Meditation is not the end destination. It’s just a means to the destination. And it’s not the only means either.

It really comes down to your lack of honesty of why you’re not having inner experiences everybody. If you can’t admit the faults of your own guru and of yourself then how would you ever have an inter experience ? It’s because you can’t handle the simple truth much less the cosmic truth.
Gurinder not only admitted Charan’s shortcomings, he emulated them. Just mention Charan Singh to Gurinder and his whole face and demeanor turns more sour ( if that’s even possible ) . He never wanted to be chosen. He just wanted the money.
Maybe the Sant mat inner experience is just a sliver of the cosmic reality. Maybe Satsangi’s having inner experiences is a delusional trick of Kalniranga (Satan) to entrap the Satsang into Kal’s(Satans) hands.
Sure can be. That’s why I never asked for an inner experience. I really don’t even think they matter at all. I even told Babaji. ” Screw all the fancy lights and sounds, I just want to go home ” . So I asked for nothing and got everything !
Very observant. Screw all the lights and all the sounds, I just want to go home ! And in the end those inner experiences might make you want to meditate or might make you not want to meditate anymore. But I’m just saying for the complainers there’s nothing to complain about only the solution. In the end you’re in the nameless region and there aren’t any lights and sounds.(Who would be able to rest with all that going on ??)
Well we’re supposed to have a master for a reason and that’s my main complaint. He told me he had nothing but admiration for me. He told me to grow my beard and everything I’ve stated many times. Now was it a practical joke is all I want to know. And it’s an Edgar Allan Poe kind of a joke because I won’t find out until he dies. That’s the joke. I won’t know until Gurinder Singh dies if he was a cruel liar or not and in the meantime he’s accused of all these crimes so what am I supposed to think. Those are pretty serious games to be playing with the dedicated disciple like me. I guess he could always parade me around like he does his parrot Mr Gill but what good would that do. I don’t need either one of them now. I just need their money!

I think that, the only Holy Spirit that will come for us, or even has any interest at all of us, or is bonded to us, will be our Higher Soul Selves. Presently, each of us are Missionaries, sent by our Higher Soul Selves , to continue balancing karmas created by the soul group of our Higher Soul Selves to escape the Causal Spiritual/material realm, until we are able to ascend to purer Spiritual Realms.

Now, that is our normal condition. We are conditioned for this place, to digest this place, to consume the food here, if you can call it food. We are conditioned to see here.
But the path is all about taking steps to approach the divine.
Every word of Simran is a rung on a ladder. And reaching the top of the ladder, then there is the rope of Shabd to pull us up.
I cannot say that hard work brings us to the divine. For many, they live in it. But I can say that for those of us who have tasted this, but also have found ourselves ground down by the strong impressions of this world, and separated from that divine experience, that this practice is the most reliable way to grow, and to return to our true natural state.
It saddens me to think that some come to the path, and see around them, no evidence of these experiences within, and how wonderful they are. They look at others and try to imagine how those others could proclaim such an inner pathway. To them, the seekers of the divine are deluded. Of course, they are seeing from their limited experience.
It saddens me to think that anyone takes initiation who does not have access, who was not brought to the path by students who are advanced in this practice. Students who are working in the inner regions every single day, to take their own next step: Juniors and Seniors, and even Graduate Students. People who look at you and know who you are, and understand, and share where they are. To be in their company, the company of the students, is miraculous.
When I attend Satsang, they are there, right along with the high school students hoping to gain admission one day.
But those high school students are hopeful and sincere, regardless of their age. They are there. They showed up.
We are all students, Um. I respect where I am because I realize how much further I have to go. But I don’t waste time looking down, because it is frightening to think of the loss of another fall. And I don’t look too far up, because it is intimidating to consider the great void I still have to traverse, and all that is beyond it.
He took me there to see it in my youth, Anami, now I have to earn it.
It is enough for me to focus on my own next step, the next rung in the ladder up. And I am saddened when I see that for others, they can’t even see that next rung for themselves. That much at least, enough for you to focus on that step. I wish that for everyone. But everyone has to work through things.
If Master is truly a Mastermind, He is first and foremost the Mastermind of our soul. He is planning a great Heist, to take us from this prison home. And He is in charge of every detail. If He is a control freak, it is about every detail of our soul’s development, and our safety, our security, but also our understanding of what we must do, what we must think, however flawed, along the way
But we are all where He wants us to be. Because we don’t really know what we want. But He does. Life knows, but death does not know. Awake we know. Asleep we do not. Still there is the hope of waking up.
It saddens me that our Master is a crook ( a white turban criminal). And possibly a habitual liar.

If I would sit with you and ha e some coffee and you would share with me your experiences of life and those with regard to sant mat in particular, almost certainly I would not speak a word.
In the days that I was still associated with the community I loved to hear the experiences of those that had traveled to beas.
Listening to a person that wants to share his or her joy, no matter what, can be like a well cooked apple pie.
These days i still treat myself on reading a biography of this or that practitioner on this or that path
You see they never say or suggest.. do what I do … they are no missionaries….
Maharaj asked by an Indian guest whether he should raise his children as satsangis …said…. DEFENATLY NOT …to the surprise of all
He also said time and again ..NOT to try to make a fellow satsangi to do better .. even if it was a best friend.
And his successor in a private conversation in a rather strong voice said to me … DO NOT PUSH HER …when I had something to say about another satsangi
Give them a good example and LET THEM GROW…it was said

If these persons would have been there you would not have witnessed the process that is going on in Europe….the same process as on the catholic church….

Everyone should certainly respect everyone’s experience, but most importantly, their own. Nothing is more sacred than that. You are owning it. Which I admire greatly.
To look outward at the world is most certainly to be disappointed. Not just because we carry expectations. But if we could let those go, then we might just see as beauty here, in every grain of sand, in every face, even every exhortation. Then no need to reject anything or anyone. Take them in their own terms.
If you have an internal life, as everyone does, that can only be internal, and you are free to speak in any way you like. Because that internal life continues on its own.
When anyone tells me of something unfamiliar, I don’t reject it.
I try to understand, appreciate and respect where they are coming from. On their terms.
And hope they can do the same. But if not, that’s ok to. They are going through their experience.
And so am I.
If you can do that, as you say, with no harm, even without critique, that seems quite the ideal to me.
Hearing the Sound is an inner experience and I find that I can catch a hold of it every day. I’ve never not heard it after doing Simran but often I don’t even have to do that. Past life experience and out of body experience in this life. Gurinder signs his letters with just a hard G at the end. I wish he was that disciplined and succinct and clear of his meanings in real life conversation. Even his court filings are vague. I don’t know what happened to him. I think it was the cancer. He used to be a man after my own heart. He used to be special. I guess he had to find out he’s just like all the rest.
Nothing will happen to GSD or anyone else blessed and washed in BJP Government machine. All to do with forthcoming State Elections in Panjab . As long as GSD does what BJP tell him ,he is going to stay corruption clean, guaranteed .
