Musings on the Metolius
It’s easy to get into an meditative mood while walking along the banks of the Metolius River. It becomes an instant river about a mile upstream of our central Oregon cabin, gushing out of springs that carry water from distant sources. Since the upper reaches are mostly spring fed, the Metolius’ water level doesn’t change much throughout the year.
